piCAN-Bike-Adapter Energybus
Universal Adapter Energybus
EnergyBus interface converter as universal for the integration of e-bikes, pedelecs and other LEVs in EnergyBus charging systems.
Description
The piCAN bike adapter is a microcontroller-controlled module for connecting non-EnergyBus-capable batteries or pedelecs to EnergyBus charging systems. Thanks to the integrated EUI-48 EEPROM, the adapter has a unique ID and is therefore clearly identifiable as a charging interface.
The specific characteristics of the unit to be charged (max. charging current, end-of-charge voltage, battery type, etc.) are permanently programmed into the adapter.
The piCAN bike adapter supports the EnergyBus / CANOpen 454 standard. The adapter is easy to retrofit and is used in pedelecs and LEVs with non-EnergyBus-capable batteries.
