piBike-Lock

piBike-Lock is a smart frame lock (also called U-lock or spoke lock) for bicycles and pedelecs. It is equipped with a BT 4.0 LE interface. It is controlled via a smartphone APP. The smart bicycle lock equipped with a BT LE 4.0 interface communicates with the user's Android or iOS app. The mobile end device becomes the key and enables the lock to be unlocked automatically.

The piBike-Lock has a wide input voltage range of 5V-60V. The lock has its own small battery. This battery guarantees a stand-by time of up to three months so that it can be recharged when the bike is activated (battery, rear light or dynamo).

The smart lock piBike-Lock, in connection with the apps developed by pironex(for iOS and Android) and the backend Portal (obALu.eu), enables an innovative sharing system to be set up. The overall system is the key to building anti-theft protection, rental systems or cloud-based security systems for bicycles, e-bikes, pedelecs and other LEVs. Conventional bicycles with all types of drive can be retrofitted easily and inexpensively. Free-floating and stationary rental systems are possible with this solution.
