Description
The piA data recorder is a single board computer based on the Cortex™-A8 ARM® 32-bit RISC architecture with extended data recorder functionality and diverse peripheral and industrial interface support.
As a powerful and energy-saving OMAP single-board computer, the piA data recorder is ideal for stationary and mobile communication, control and data management tasks. The sustainability of the system is underlined by the use of Embedded Linux as the current operating system. A C/C++ cross compiler SDK and interpreter for Python, Perl, Ruby are available for application development.
The data recorder is designed as a data acquisition device for use in buses and trains and is equipped with train interfaces (IBIS-BUS).
