Description
The inexpensive Bluetooth gateway "piSmart-Gateway Bluetooth" is ideal for indoor solutions and wherever there are short distances between objects, nodes or users. It serves as a Bluetooth interface between sensors, measuring devices, machines or mobile end devices.
The gateway bundles the transponder signals for seamless or centimeter-precise positioning as well as secure access control, data transmission or object tracking.
As a module for sharing and Asset Tracking systems, the piSmart gateway Bluetooth enables sensor data to be read, the position of BT beacons to be determined, access management and machine control.

The piSmart gateway Bluetooth takes control to a lock for a keyless entry system for objects or vehicles. The gateway uses the Bluetooth interface integrated in every smartphone to open the door or release the vehicle. Secure encryption protects the mobile token and the data transmission channel itself against eavesdropping and copying of information.
In sensor data acquisition, the piSmart Gateway Bluetooth is used as an interface to other gateways (such as the piSmart Gateway II IoT) and serves as a central gateway within a large sensor network. Designed specifically for space-constrained environments, the gateway withstands shock, vibration and extreme temperature conditions.
Application-specific modifications are possible - the form factor, interfaces and performance can be customized.
