The piAx-AM3517-H is a 600MHz Cortex-A8 ARM industrial calculator. This single board computer combines the benefits of the Beagle Board reference design with the craneboard reference design and was developed for industrial applications.
The application processor OMAP AM3517 is available for a broad software developer group.
Interfaces such as CAN, RS485 and Ethernet were implemented in industrial terms and extended by a display port.
A defined expansion slot allows the integration of other electronic components, such as analogue signal converter cards or digital output cards and stepper motor controllers.
In addition to being used as a control computer for laboratory automation, the piAx-AM3517-H is also ideally suited for applications in the field of medical technology.
