Cost-effective 13.56 MHz high-range RFID reader for access control and object identification.
The piCAN-RFID works with the frequency of 13.56 MHz and supports the new NFC (Near Field Communication) standard.
The RFID antenna integrated into the device has a range of min. 3cm.
Two digital inputs allow the connection and evaluation of sensors. The dual 12V / 750mA outputs allow the connection of up to 2 LEDs. The integrated PWM drivers can be used, for example, for controlling the LED brightness.
Thanks to the integrated 16-bit Fujitsu microcontroller, the device can be configured and programmed according to the application.
